This website contains information about the services offered by my law firm, the Law Office of LaTonia Denise Wright, LLC and by my consulting firm, the Healthcare Risk Aversion Group, LLC. My blog address is: www.advocatefornurses.typepad.com. This blog discusses the legal, ethical, and professional practice issues facing nurses. I also comment on the issues and cases I face as a nurse lawyer representing nurses in licensure and disciplinary investigations and provide my two cents and commentary. Its called Nursing Law & Order.

I also have another blog for nurses, nurse attorneys, nurse lawyers, and RN-JDs who are small business owners, self-employed or starting a nurse-owned business. The blog address is
www.advocatefornurses.typepad.com/nursinglawbandit. Its called Nursing Law Bandit.

Ohio, Kentucky, and/or Indiana Nursing Board Matters

1. Are you currently on probation with the State Nursing Board and you need legal assistance?

2. Is your nursing license suspended and you need assistance with meeting the terms and conditions for reinstatement?

3. Have you received a Potential Violation Report from the Ohio Nursing Board?

4. Have you received a Notice of Complaint from the Kentucky Board of Nursing and you have 15 days to respond?

5. Have your received an Order for a Chemical Dependency evaluation from the Kentucky Nursing Board?

6. Have you received a Notice of a Complaint from the Indiana Attorney General's office?

7. Have you received a Consent Agreement from the Ohio Nursing Board?

8. Are you scheduled for an investigative meeting with the Kentucky Nursing Board?

9. Have you been told to self-report to the Nursing Board?

10. Are you planning to enter into a State Nursing Board Alternative Program for Chemical Dependency?

11. Have you been charged with a crime, even if its unrelated to your nursing practice and you are wondering how a plea or conviction will impact your nursing license or career?

12. Are you considering an Endorsement Application for Licensure with the Ohio, Kentucky, and/or Indiana Nursing Boards and you have affirmative responses?

13. Are you considering an Application for Licensure by Examination with the Ohio, Kentucky, and/or Indiana Nursing Boards and you have affirmative responses?

These are just a few of the reasons why you may need attorney representation, counseling, and advising before the State Nursing Board. Attorney representation is not just for disciplinary investigations  and hearings; attorney representation, counseling, and advising may also be helpful during the reinstatment and probationary period and also while you are being monitored in a State Nursing Board Alternative to Discipline Program, which is typically a 3-5 year agreement.
